The Olivia Companies, LLC are looking for experienced female sound technicians to fortify their production team on select trips. Olivia, founded as a record label in 1973, transformed into a travel company in 1990, and is now the premiere travel company for lesbians. Generally, Olivia has four or five trips a year where they bring live-sound engineers. On most of these trips, you will work with Olivia’s Technical Director, who also serves as our A1 in the Main Theater.
The whole production team works together to set-up, run and strike AV equipment for all the various Olivia programming around the ship/resort. For some events you will be working with others on the team, and for other events you’ll be on your own but working under the direction of our TD.
This is a volunteer position that includes a modest honorarium, flights to and from the port/resort, and a free cruise or all-inclusive resort trip.
