About Jett Galindo

Los Angeles-based Filipino Grammy-winning mastering engineer and vinyl cutter Jett Galindo has worked on a wide range of albums, collaborating with artists like Elvis Costello, Pinar Toprak, Billie Eilish, Lena Raine, to name a few. She continues the legacy of her mentor, mastering legend Doug Sax of The Mastering Lab. Before opening her own studio, Jett was a key member of The Bakery, working alongside esteemed engineers Eric Boulanger and Peter Hewitt-Dutton.Beyond mastering, Jett serves as a Governor on the Recording Academy’s LA Chapter Board and is a member of the P&E Wing Advisory Council. She is also a board member of Women in Vinyl, a nonprofit championing education and representation in the vinyl industry, and remains actively involved with SoundGirls, an organization supporting women and LGBTQ+ professionals in audio. Additionally, Jett has written over 30 published articles on mastering for iZotope’s LEARN portal.

Women’s Audio Mission courses focus on increasing the gender balance in audio production and technology sectors since fewer than 5% of the population employed in these sectors are women and gender-expansive individuals. There are limited spots available in WAM classes, and they often sell out, so we ask that if you are not woman-identified (cisgender or transgender), nonbinary, or gender-expansive, you reconsider enrolling in the class. We will not turn anyone away, but please be mindful that if you take up a seat in the class, that is one less woman, non-binary, or gender-expansive individual that we can serve. We thank you for your understanding in advance and for joining us in our mission to advance women and girls in music production and the recording arts.

By purchasing a ticket for this event, I grant Women’s Audio Mission and its staff, volunteers, professional photographers, and the media the absolute right and permission to take during the Event, and to use and publish, photographs of me, still or moving, with or without my name, and to reproduce same through any media, for artistic, promotional, advertising, web content or other commercial and non-commercial purposes, and I shall not be entitled to any monetary compensation of any kind in respect thereof.
