We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Lead Audio Technician: namely to act as the ‘A1’ mixing shows as well as overseeing and facilitating sound for Desired Effect’s clients.
In addition, the Lead Audio Technician will be expected to take responsibility for organizing, supplying, and preparing materials for implementation of sound designs for client events, often without supervision on the part of the Lead Designer. The Lead Audio Technician will work closely with the Owner and Lead Designer, and with other Designers and Lead Technicians, as well as directly with clients.
Sound engineers and technicians are deft around sensitive audio equipment and experts in using them to produce quality sound. We expect you to be knowledgeable about different audio reinforcement, recording, and editing techniques.
A successful candidate for this position will be highly committed to our company’s goals and personally take responsibility for client satisfaction and must have in depth knowledge of sound recording and reinforcement. Responsibilities include personnel management, as well as implementation and oversight of client sound solutions.
