SUMMARY:
We are currently looking to hire a full-time Producer with experience in the podcast space. This team member will work alongside the production team to help record and edit multiple shows per week with various talent/hosts. The office and studio are located in West Hollywood, California.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Dear Media Studio calendar and coordinate recordings between the Dear Media team and Talent/Hosts
- Record in studio and edit podcasts on a weekly basis
- Work on multiple shows each week
- Provide mp3 files or recordings to upload to host account
- Work with hosts and the Dear Media team on “show notes” and episode “title/description” each week
- Provide direct links/hyperlinks in “show notes” for hosts and guests, advertisers, etc. (see The Skinny Confidential Him & Her episode show notes for examples)
- Additional responsibilities as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Past podcast production experience is highly preferred
- Past experience in radio production
- Minimum of 1-2 years of full editing audio experience
- Proven experience editing audio files using Adobe Audition and Pro Tools
