Summary
The Recording & Mixing Studio at Iyuno Burbank is seeking an experienced Dubbing Producer to join our fast-growing team specializing in high quality English Dubbing for Animation and Live-Action content from established content providers from around the world
Description of Duties
- Oversee all aspects of production from project inception to completion of production & final delivery.
- Creation of production schedules including delivery, and archiving of final assets
- Scripting: Communicating with Director, Adaptor & Content Partners to ensure scripts are created accurately & within decided timelines
- Review speaking roles and oversee casting & working with Production Coordinator regarding scheduling talent record sessions
- Directing voice talent as needed
- Supervise audio editing & mixing sessions
- Facilitating the smooth operation and interaction of all key components & team members within the production
- Collaborate with Studio Director and Managing Director in establishing SOPs and operational best practices
- Business Development: Foster client relationships, both existing and new, with an eye towards opportunities and related to Burbank Studio Facility.
Required Skills
- Must be detail oriented, organized, and stay cool under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
- Experience with a variety of centralized Subtitling and Dubbing localization workflows and product types, including movies or series across multiple regions and languages, or experience working in the local office of a global studio or post-production environment geared toward work with the same (5+ years)
- Competent music theory & ear training skills: Ability to provide input regarding vocal arrangements, part-writing, lead sheets (formal music training 3+ years)
- Knowledge of Video and Audio codecs, specifications, and formats (3+ years)
- Comfort with creating workable and efficient production schedules
- Understanding of project accounting
- Experience with VoiceQ software (1+ year)
- Highly skilled with MS Excel, MS Word and Google Sheets (3+ years)
- B.A. in Theatre, Film, Music or related field
- Great sense of humor
Preferred Skills
- MFA in Theatre, Performing Arts, Music, or related field
- Proficient in Pro-Tools (2+ years)
- Multilingual
- Advanced ear training and music theory knowledge related to vocals: Solfege, part writing, arranging, and music direction (5+ years)
- Experience with prelay animation workflows (1+ year)
- Proficient in Adobe CC especially Premiere (2+ years)
