As a participant of WAM’s programs, students are often be photographed or recorded, and WAM may use such photographs and/or video for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as fund raising, board reports, publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content. Photographs and their use in storytelling in social media play an important role in raising awareness and funding for the WAM mission. Please select an option in signing this form to opt in or opt out of your image being used

Intellectual Property Rights: All class materials, including but not limited to text, images, videos, audio recordings, presentations, and any other content provided during the course, are protected by intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademark laws. These materials are the exclusive property of Women’s Audio Mission. Access License: Participants in our courses are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and view the course materials solely for personal educational purposes. This license does not grant the right to save, download, record, or share these materials with others. Prohibited Actions: Participants are expressly prohibited from saving, downloading, recording, or otherwise duplicating any course materials provided. Participants are also prohibited from sharing, distributing, or making available any course materials to third parties, whether for free or for a fee. Monitoring and Enforcement: Women’s Audio Mission reserves the right to monitor the use of course materials to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions. If any unauthorized use is detected, appropriate legal action may be taken, and the participant’s access to the course may be terminated without refund. Legal Consequences: Violating these terms and conditions may lead to legal action, including but not limited to civil suits for damages and injunctive relief. Violators may also be subject to criminal penalties as provided by applicable laws. Compliance with Local Laws: Participants are expected to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including but not limited to Alameda County, Oakland City, and California state laws, in relation to the use and distribution of educational materials. Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Women’s Audio Mission, its instructors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with the participant’s breach of these terms and conditions. Modification of Terms: Women’s Audio Mission reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, and such changes will be effective upon posting on our website or providing notice to participants.
