🌟 Venue:
Located in the heart of the famed Berry Hill in Nashville, Tennessee, Gold Pacific Studios (GPS) is unparalleled in vibe and gear selection. This 5,145 square foot recording studio boasts an impressive array of vintage and modern equipment, centered around a stunning, one-of-a-kind, 48-channel, white API AXS Legacy console. The console was commissioned directly from API and made exclusively for GPS. The extensive collection of microphones, both vintage and modern, add to the sonic versatility, while the Yamaha C7 grand piano and Hammond A100 with a Leslie 147 speaker provide rich, classic tones.
The studio also features a Studer Gold Edition A827 2” tape machine, delivering unparalleled sound. With a large collection of guitars and amps, the creative possibilities are endless. Another unique feature of GPS is the underground echo chamber, built as a replica to Abbey Road Studio 2, as well as a stereo EMT 140 tube plate reverb. These features make GPS one of the most unique studios in Nashville.
GPS offers (4) distinct spaces: Studio A, the sizeable live room with large picturesque windows that let in ample natural light, and a spacious control room that includes a separate vocal booth, making the space as visually inspiring as it is acoustically impressive. Studio B, a mixing room with an additional isolation booth, perfect for tracking vocals and mixing projects. And lastly, GPS offers (2) professionally-designed, dedicated writing rooms, providing ample space for creativity. Rooms are designed with a balance of vintage and contemporary aesthetics, making the vibe at GPS unmatched.

Important Note:
Women’s Audio Mission focuses on increasing the gender balance in audio production and technology sectors. Less than 5% of the population employed in these sectors are women or gender-expansive people. Though we will not turn anyone away, there are limited spots available in our events, and they often sell out, so we ask that if you are not a woman (transgender or cisgender), non-binary, gender-expansive, or gender non-conforming, you reconsider registering or, alternatively, donating the price of a ticket. We thank you for your understanding in advance and for joining us in our mission to advance women, girls, and gender-expansive people in music production and the recording arts.
