Job Summary
The goal of The Los Angeles Film School is to prepare the next generation of creative professionals for a future in the entertainment industry. We are seeking online instructors to teach courses one or more of the following subject areas within our online music business program:
- Music Industry Marketing
- Music Evaluation for A&R
We are seeking Online instructors located in either the Los Angeles, CA or Orlando, FL area.
Responsibilities
- Be a subject matter expert who teaches and mentors students
- Serve as instructor for assigned courses and offer specialized instruction on challenging topics
- Develop and/or revise curriculum according to course design standards
- Ensure successful student attainment of learning outcomes
- Provide excellent and timely student support
- Conduct live synchronous online sessions weekly
- Conduct weekly virtual online office hours for student support
- Efficiently and professionally support students with clear communication, concerned care, creative and timely solutions to problems
- Provides expertise in assigned content area and maintains current knowledge in his/her field
- Maintain accurate academic records, including grades and student communications
- Utilize student feedback to continuously improve course instruction and make curriculum recommendations

Technical Skills
- Proven competency using Microsoft Office, Apple, and Windows software environments, and other industry-related software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, marketing, media, entertainment, music, or a related field required
- Must have at least 4 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry
