This workshop will serve as an introduction to mixing and mastering audio for advertising. Participants will be taken through the process of creating an ad from raw audio file to finished, mastered product through a series of presentations and a hands-on demonstration. At the end of the workshop, everyone will have a chance to edit and mix an audio ad, and receive feedback if desired.
This work correlates to other aspects of the audio industry – from dialogue editing for film, TV and videogames, to audio book editing, and radio and podcast production.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops with a DAW, but it is in no way a requirement.
