Summary:
We are a fast growing event/entertainment company. We are multi-faceted in offering space for music rehearsals, filming, broadcast stage as well as full service event production. We are looking for a part time audio engineer to run rehearsals at our film/rehearsal studio location in Atwater Village. This is an exiting opportunity to get your foot n the door with a company that is growing in various aspects of the entertainment industry.
Current position will be nights starting at 6pm and weekends when needed. Must be a team player and want to learn other aspects of the business.
As a an audio engineer your duties will include but are not limited to:
*Set up and tear down of backline equipment in rehearsal room (PA, drums, mics, amps)
*Storing equipment carefully and properly
*Checking online booking calendar for rehearsals
*Learning how to answer phones for bookings
*Understanding how the booking process works
*Communicating with staff and management
*Working Soundcraft & X32 boards
*Creating a positive environment for clients
*Working with various types of clients/equipment/needs
*Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve in a professional manner
*Willingness to be a part of a team
This is a great opportunity for an engineer fresh out of school and would like to get their first start in the industry.
